Discard paper and cardboard in the blue container. This includes newspapers, comics and magazines, paper and cardboard packaging, notebooks, brochures, advertising and toilet rolls. All cardboard should be folded together or cut down to smaller pieces for easier handling; doing this will also make sure that there will be room for these in the container. If there is not room for you waste, do not place it outside the container as it may easily end up in the environment. In that case you have littered the environment and not sorted at the source. Also remove any labels and tape that are affixed to the cardboard and throw these in the household waste so that they can be recycled to energy instead. Remember that you may not discard used paper, table napkins and household paper soiled with grease, left-overs or other waste, diapers, intimate hygiene products, waxed and plasticised paper such as photographic paper or carbon paper and paper or cardboard with lots of residual glue, plastic bags, disposable plates, styrofoam packaging and juice and milk Tetra Paks into the blue container.
