Organic

All decomposable organic material should be disposed in the brown container. This includes left-overs such as fruit and vegetables, meat, nuts, pasta, products from butcher’s shops, fish, shells and bones, coffee-grounds and paper contaminated by left-overs or oil. Please note that certain towns/places may not have a specific container for organic waste. If this is the case, this waste should be discarded together with the household waste in the green or grey container. It is important to bear in mind that when we deposit organic waste we must do so with a specific biodegradable bag.

For more information on how to sort your organic waste, contact your town hall.
