Energy Saving

Doors and windows

Make sure that doors and gates are always kept closed to avoid letting in unnecessary heat in the summer and cold in the winter. Close doors to storerooms and spaces that are seldom used to retain the heat in those rooms that are used. Make sure that windows are not ajar. Instead, air quickly for 5-10 minutes to admit fresh air and then keep the windows closed. Also check the condition of the weather-stripping in the windows and doors. Replace them if they are in poor condition and you will experience a great difference in the indoor climate and save a lot of energy.
